Events:USA: Oil below 90 and equity bounced
after Trump comments on war end close
Stock News:NIO+6% BNTX-18% KSS-2% Earnings
Equity: USA markets squeezed higher after Trump comments late in the
day that the Iran war is close to an end. Resulted in oil, US$ falling and
equity bouncing with large cap growth outperforming. Foreign markets are
playing catch up and USA markets are profit taking with small caps leading to
the downside. MAGs are generally lower with TSLA only one higher and NVDA
leading to the downside. The Iranian war is still unresolved and oil is still
high despite the Mon pullback. As long as missiles are still flying and tanker
traffic is reduced, the market will remain on edge and as yesterday
demonstrated, sharp moves on news are to be expected. Equity market is trading
inverse to oil prices and the US$ which are moving on the war situation which
is still unknown. Vix futures remain inverted indicating institutions are still
short term hedged. VRT, LITE, COHR, SATS are being added to the S&P500 Mar
23 and are seeing some forced buying. ORCL is reporting after the close and
will be an important mover of the AI and software cloud space.
