Jobless claims; USA red line visa vis Iran in conflict with Iran’s stay tuned

Equity: Global indices ex-Japan are flat to lower premarket after Wed short
squeeze. Energy futures are continuing lower, which is reducing bond yields and
the US$. Market is acting as if the war is over. IMO, the USA red line is
potentially unacceptable to Iran, and ergo complacency should be rethought.
Semis are taking a breather from the squeeze and monkeys are rotating into
software with DDOG headline EPS move, FTNT spiking on an upgrade and the usual
suspects like SNOW, MDB U all popping premarket and already extended. PLTR,
MSFT are two of the IGV heavyweights. MU, SNDK are lower premarket, which
violates a law of nature so will be interesting to see how long before the
monkeys are buying the dip. ARM lower post earnings which beat but I guess 20%
revenue growth with a PE 220 is too rich but will monkeys buy because its a
semi? MAGS all positive led by TSLA, GOOGL, MSFT. SPX looks well
supported down to 7280 with 7400 first level of resistance and above 7420
resistance at 7450. Gold miners are continuing to be strong as yields lower and
US$ lower and dependent on oil not rising which depends on the WH tweets and
ultimately the official Iranian response to the USA redlines.

KWEB
KWEB holds a basket of Chinese MAGs. Large buyer of May 29 32 calls. There is a large open interest at 30 and above, with potential for 35, which coincides with high volume resistance. The IV is high and skewed to calls, so call verticals are an idea targeting 35. The Trump-XI meeting is next week, and if something positive is spun from the meeting, then it may be positive for Chinese stocks.
