Equity:USA equity are lower ahead of NFP with QQQ leading to the downside. Semis are leading to the downside with profit taking continuing. Korea index which is dominated by memory is -9% since Wed and Korean weakness can spill into QQQ. MAGS are led by MSFT as software is outperforming semis which can be due to the unwind of a popular pairs trade. DIA is positive and Thurs money rotated into financials and healthcare, likely some short covering. MSOS is +10% with news that WH is pressing congress to keep Hemp based CBD legal and listing of TCNNF on NYSE. SPX major 0DTE option support 7540/20 and the positive gamma usually leads to dips being bought. Correlation is extremely low and dispersion high so can see outsized moves in stocks/sectors to compensate for downside moves in others. Semis have been parabolic but Thurs the dips were bought and question today is whether the dips will be bought again. *** NFP 172k vs 85k UE rate 4.3% CDN employment 87k vs 10k UE rate 6.6% vs 6.9% Reaction: Yields higher, S&P lower as better jobs report reduces need for Fed to cut rates

XLV
Laggard sector over the past year but getting some flow either due to short covering or defensive rotation as money leaves tech. XLV is a generic way to trade the sector. Leader is LLY but maybe extended. UNH, TMO or JNJ are individual names. NVO interesting as a LLY competitor.
