Comments Global equity indices are mixed with Europe weak and USA mixed with QQQ higher and IWM lower reflecting the leadership in speculative AI and real economy names weakening. BOJ increased yields but Yen is lower which is pushing up the US$ which is usually negative for foreign equity. Crude oil lower in theory should be supportive but only impact is weakness of energy names. Bitcoin related names higher after a GOP led Congressional committee advanced a Bitcoin Reserve bill. The odds of it passing into law are projected to be 8-20% but premarket bumping COIN PURR ASST et al. HOOD is higher on SEC guidance for tokenized stock trading. MAGS are led by GOOGL potentially due to a legal ruling or maybe its their turn. META also strong but NFLX is quite weak following a downgrade. Metals higher despite a stronger US$ with the more speculative metals higher. Premarket looks like its potential a MAGS day with the megacaps viewed as the safety trade as the real economy sectors like industrials and financials weaken. SPX 0DTE indicates risk < 7600 and upside pivots 7650 7700. The options expiration today will remove 27% of SPX gamma and can lead to increased volatility in the coming week. Traders are leaning into tech calls which support upside potential but below 7600 potential for indices to move lower. Breadth is weak and positioning is consistent with a thesis that growth is slowing and traders are reaching for growth, which is in the AI/semi basket where endless debt issuance can keep the dream alive.

GOOGL
GOOGL is potentially starting to turn back up from a downtrend with an antitrust legal ruling a catalyst. GOOGLis now above the 350 call wall with upside targets 360-380. Large call position at 370, 375 can lead to acceleration. GOOGL has gapped higher and with Opex, risk of a pullback. GOOGL skew is tilted to calls and IV is not high so one could consider long calls or call spreads for continuation higher.
