Comments USA market cap weighted indices lower led by QQQ while equal weighted RSP higher as index remains supported and major down moves in some tech means they will over buy non tech to balance. AMZN and INTC earnings miss are catalysts for further weakness in the AI/semi trade. INTC is a dumpster with a reduced forecast for PC in 2027 which will impact AMD and MU. Korean and Taiwan markets are getting hit with semi pullback which will spillover into ADRs like Hynix and TSM. BOJ which has a large global equity position has started to liquidate which reduces global liquidity. Binance was hacked for $6.3B and resulted in Tether and Circle freezing assets and negatively impacting bitcoin and related names like COIN and MSTR. MAGS are lower with AMZN leading to downside and MSFT outperforming and software outperforming semis. Significant decliners on earnings: RDDT RBLX ILMN TWLO and positive reactions: MDLZ GILD SBUX. Option positioning is still leaning to calls and despite weakness in major names, so far the reaction is to rotate into staples, utes, reits and healthcare which is dominating. S&P is being supported by the invisible hand of 0DTE put sellers which stepping in every day and continue but premarket with SPX < 6990 there is potential for a move to 6900 and 6400 if the dam breaks. It is Opex and put closing may lead to a bounce and also end of month which may impact recent rotation. Caveat is there is the continuing risk of USA attacking Iran and the USA midterms which will lead to increased volatility. For now IMO it looks like traders are not ready to toss in the towel but liquidity is low and crowded trades result in outsized moves when traders move to the exit. The deflation in AI is leading to an outsized pump in the defensives so be careful chasing. SPX needs to reclaim 7700 and QQQ 700 and if can, may see a short squeeze. Stay tuned and good luck

NVDA
NVDA has broken recent support and now below the AVWAP from the April MOU bounce date. Put wall is 205 which can be used as a line in the sand. There are large put positions at 200 which can lead to acceleration lower. Upside targets 210, 215 if puts close with Opex. Expected move +/-3.8 but NVDA can easily exceed in either direction.
